A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It All Began
Moving to United States wasn't in the long-range plan. Like many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much larger.
The initial months were intense — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Daily tasks felt more complicated than anticipated.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet over time, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, met other families, and began crafting something that felt steady.
Why I Built Cascade Modest Orchard
Most information online was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to close that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United States.
